A week of firsts

Tuesday was a big day for me. Not only did I say "da da" for the first time, but I learned how to sit up on my own! The funny thing is, mommy missed it the first time! She put me on the living room floor so she could get my bath ready. She put me on my tummy, but I fooled her. When she came out of the bathroom I was sitting up. Her face was priceless! ha ha

Oh, and Tuesday I got to sit on and touch grass for the first time. It was a nice day out so mommy took me to the park. She plopped me down on the grass.

Wait, what is this stuff?


Grass? It feels weird.


I'm not sure I like it


Okay, now I'm sure I don't like it! Get me out of here!


I also got to eat Cheerios for the first time on Friday. They are so good! You surely don't need teeth to eat them either!

Then today mom gave me pumpkin for the first time. I'll be honest, I've had better. I didn't care much for it, but for some reason I couldn't stop opening my mouth for more!


This is not going well


Okay, I'm done with the pumpkin!


Next I'd like to tell you how I can scoot. Yes, scoot! Who needs to crawl forward when you can scoot backwards? The only problem with that is I can't figure out how to make my way out once I get stuck!

Bath time means no privacy!

I finally get to take my baths in the tub instead of my toddler tub. I just can't believe mom even brings her camera to the bathroom!

This new duck tub is nice!


Can I get a little privacy please?


I'm serious! I'd love some privacy!


Whatever. I'll just eat my rubber duck!

My first Easter

My first Easter was fun! When I got up, mommy showed me the basket the Easter bunny left for me! It's a basket that looks like Elmo wearing bunny ears! Inside I got quite a few toys and a stuffed bunny. I even got Peeps! But, they were the stuffed kind. :(

Back to yesterday. We went to Grammy and Pap's house for dinner. I got to roll around and play in the floor. I even showed everyone how I can get up on my hands and knees and rock. I'm so close to crawling!


Huge bummer that I didn't get candy for Easter. But, who needs candy when I have my toes?!






Man, that's really good. I'll have some more of that!

Rocking, rolling, and crawling?

Today something big happened. I figured out how to get up on my hands and knees and rock back and forth! Mommy was so excited, she even started clapping. She is crazy like that sometimes, but I love her anyway. She grabbed her phone and started taking pictures. Mamarazzi strikes again!







Oh, and in case my outfit didn't give it away, Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Second trip to the park

Friday's weather was much nicer than Thursday's. So we made another trip up the road! Since there are so many pictures from that day (surprising, huh?), mommy wants you to check them out on her web gallery, or whatever she calls it.

I love the park!

Thursday mom took me up the road to the park. This was my first time there and my first time on a swing. As you can tell by my face, I didn't let on that I really loved it!

But then I couldn't contain myself anymore!


There were some bigger kids there and I was enjoying swinging and watching them play.



Hmm, that looks fun.


Seriously, I really was enjoying myself.

Next I got to play on one of the slides! Well, sort of.





It was quite a chilly day, so mommy put a hat on me because the hood of my jacket wouldn't stay on. Back into the swing I went. But this time it had quite a different effect for me. I was falling asleep!

Umm mom. I think it's nap time.

Seriously, I'm getting drowsy!

So mommy took me home and put me to bed for a nap. I LOVE the park!

Easter bunny!

Wow, I had no idea the Easter bunny was so big! Anyway, that didn't bother me at all. He was really cool! I sat on his lap and he hugged me. He was so nice to me. I hope he brings me something for Easter! Oh, and click on the picture below to get the full size photo. You get to see my cuteness better that way.

The big boy goes shopping

No more sitting in a car seat or stroller when I go shopping! No way! I now get to sit in the cart! It was a little confusing at first, but I became a pro at it within minutes.

Because St. Patty's Day and Easter are so close

Like my new outfit? The front says "Kiss me, I'm Irish".


There has never been an Easter bunny so cute!

7 months!!

Wow, I'm 7 months old today! I'm getting so big too. It seems like every day I'm learning something new. Mommy took some pictures of me today.
