Santa baby!

Guess who went to see Santa Claus today?! Me!! When we first got to the mall, Santa had just gone for lunch. I was disappointed at first, but mommy promised me that we'd stroll the mall and wait for an hour. We shopped for an hour and I had a blast! I couldn't stop smiling. Then, Santa finally came back from lunch and you better believe we were the first in line (Okay, okay, we were the ONLY ones in line).

I couldn't stop flirting with the girl who worked there. She said I was so cute, so I couldn't stop smiling at her. I sat on Santa's lap and they took a bunch of pictures. I'll share the best one with you (although they were all great - mommy could only get one). I can't wait for Santa to come to my house next month!

Sunday morning

After I ate breakfast, Daddy put me in his bed with Mommy. I love being in Mommy and Daddy's bed! I feel like such a big boy when I do that. I mean, look at that face! Does that look like the face of a happy baby or what?

Today was the day that Uncle Kenny went back home. We had our picture taken together before he left. Ignore the fact that I'm still in my pj's!

Hopefully the 5 of us (Mom, Dad, Woody, Joey, and myself) will be able to get a family photo done soon for our Christmas cards. Maybe even tonight! I can't wait to do that because I have a special outfit just for the picture! :)

I'm thankful for...

..My family! I had a great first Thanksgiving! We started off the day by mom dressing me in a onesie that said "My First Thanksgiving". I think I looked pretty good in it.

We all went to Grammy and Pap's for dinner. Everyone ate, then I took a nap while Mom, Dad, Pap, Uncle Kenny, Woody, and Joey went outside to fly a toy helicopter. When I woke up from my nap, Grammy took me outside with a Harley bandana on my head. Everyone seemed to think it was funny! Mom took a picture, but I wasn't too thrilled about it.

Then Dad, Uncle Kenny, Woody, and Joey played a few games in the kitchen. I missed most of it because I was napping again.

Grammy fed me a bottle and afterwards I was what mommy calls "fat and happy". I was so happy that I did my Elvis-like smile.

Then to top off the day, my crazy cousin Sarah had a flashy gadget in her mouth! It had different colored lights flashing and it was weird! What do you think?

Tonight mommy took 4 pictures of me as I was rolling over. She was able to convert the images to a short video clip. Check it out!

Guess what I did tonight? I rolled from tummy to back - twice!! It surprised mommy and daddy so they didn't have a camera ready to catch shots of it. It was fun too! I can't believe I waited this long to do it. I'm definitely going to have to try it again!

Here are a few other things that have gone on with me for the last few days:

*This morning I belly laughed for mommy. She kept tickling me around my neck and I loved it! It was so funny.
*Mom and Dad weighed me the other night. I'm up to 15lbs 3oz. I'm getting so big!

Other than that, not much has been happening with me. But I am looking forward to my first Thanksgiving. We'll be eating at Grammy and Pap's. Then again, I'll have my usual bottle of milk. I'm sure mom will take plenty of photos on Thursday. I'll try and smile for them. :)

Oh, and even though mom and dad didn't get pictures of me rolling, here are a few pictures of me from tonight.

Christmas in November?

Christmas must have come early! Today mommy took me to Babies R Us and bought an exersaucer just for me! I can't quite reach the bottom of it, so mom put a pillow under my feet. I am so excited about my new toy!

But, since I can't reach any of the toys yet, I am still loving my hands!

Being a baby

Tonight, mommy took a couple pictures of me before we left for grammy and pap's house. I'm usually not crazy about my car seat, but tonight I just gave in. Look how happy I was!



As soon as mommy put me back into the car to come home, I fell asleep (which is unusual for me, or so I'm told). Plus I didn't wake up as soon as we got into the house (which I'm told is also unusual for me).


It sure is rough being a baby!

Daddy comes home tonight, yes! Look how excited I was when mommy told me this morning! We can't wait to see him. I hope I'm still up when he gets home.


Last night, I discovered that I can make a new noise. I can make a raspy noise from my throat. At first, it kind of frightened mommy. She thought I was choking or something like that. Now she knows that it's a new noise I like to make. I also like playing peek-a-boo now. Here are a few photos that mommy took of me in my swing this morning. I like looking up at the mirror above me. There's a baby that looks just like me!

What's sleep?

Like I mentioned in my last post, we went to Grammy and Pap's last night for dinner. I was a really good boy for the most part. But I had some tummy troubles and I wasn't too happy about that, of course. Before that happened though, we did have a good time - even though I didn't get any pizza!

Mommy let me do some tummy time. I have some strong arm and neck muscles!


I don't know why, but mom keeps saying how cute my ears are. I wonder what she means by that?

I guess my tummy was still bothering me when we got home because I gave mommy a rough time last night. She had to come tend to me at least 15-20 times after we went to bed. She said something about only getting about 5 hours of sleep. We're both exhausted today because of that. Let's hope that tonight goes better!

Where's Daddy?

This morning mommy told me that daddy left for San Francisco for 5 days. Boo! I love my daddy and he makes me smile and giggle. He's super silly! You can see below my reaction when mommy told me the news. We're both going to miss him!!

So, mommy wants me to be good for the next 5 days. So far we're off to a good start, but I can't make any promises! We're going to grammy and pap's every night for dinner while daddy's out of town. Tonight we're having pizza, woohoo!! Oh wait, I'm on a liquid diet and I can't have any. :(

LOL - literally!

Today I giggled at mommy for the first time! I have giggled for Daddy a few times, but today was the first time for mommy. She kept whistling at me and I thought it was so funny! Mommy seemed to get a kick out of me giggling too. I'll have to do that more often. Who knew something so simple would be so entertaining!?

(For those that don't know the lingo - "LOL" means laugh out loud.)

3 Months!

Today I am 3 months old! I can't believe it. I'm still trying to figure out whats going on though. Mommy says I'm learning everyday. She took a special picture of me to mark the occasion. I'm wearing a shirt that says 'Daddy's little star'. I refused to smile for it though - I was going for a laid back look. I'm too cool for my own britches!

Move over Gerber baby!

Today I had my first professional photo shoot! We had them done for me turning 3 months old (in two days). I was such a good boy! I smiled like crazy too! The photographer took about 40 pictures and I changed outfits halfway through. It wore us all out though. We're all home now and so sleepy. I think I'll go take a nap! Busy day!

Today I went to Daddy's work for the first time. Wow, there are a lot of people there and they all wanted to look at me! Some even wanted to hold me. I showed my handsome smile to most of them (big people get a kick out of that). After we left Daddy's work, we went to grammy and pap's again to get mommy's camera. I'll show you some of the photos from yesterday. Look at me holding my bag of candy...I have skills.
